I went to see Lisa Frankenstein recently. I've been looking forward to it since I first saw the trailer, and it ended up being even better than I thought it would be! It was really funny, and I loved the characters. I was a little worried about how they were going to treat the relationship between Lisa and Taffy, but I really liked the direction they took it in the end. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD because I really want to rewatch it.
I had so much fun this week hanging out with friends and going to events, but today I am completely exhausted lol. Too much socializing! The plan for today is to make some tea, hide out in my dimly lit bedroom, rewatch one of the shows I've already seen a million times (probably either Always Sunny or I Think You Should Leave), and not talk to anyone.
I just realized I never showed you guys the tattoo I got a few months ago! I got it done for my birthday, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. It took about four hours, which was a good long time to sit, but with the placement it barely hurt at all. The artist free handed it, and was very proud of it lol, he took me all around the shop to show the other artists. I'll definitely go back to him for my next one.
So a few months ago, a friend told me about a goth night that happens at a nearby club, and I've been going ever since! I had no idea they did this kind of thing where I live! I even got to see a local artist perform there one time! I'm going again tonight, I'm not sure if anyone I know will be there yet, but I'm just gonna show up anyway, and we'll see who I see. I just absolutely love dancing there, so I do it every chance I get.
It's been awhile! My doctor put me on meds for my anxiety disorder, and it turns out I'm kind of a social butterfly when I'm not too scared to go anywhere or do anything lol, so I haven't been online as much. I've been hanging out at the goth club a lot and getting involved in my local BDSM scene, and I've met so many cool people!
But I've missed updating on here, too. I've got new music and movies to share with you guys, so I'm going to try and work on that!
I've been updating a lot of the pages on this site, because I'm learning how to use flexbox, and it's making my layout building way easier! It's gotten rid of that problem I'm always having where my floated divs will push each other down, which is so annoying lol. There's some free W3Schools lessons on it here if you wanna check it out yourself! It's super easy if you already know some basic CSS.
I finally got my disaster room sorted out lol. It took me like six hours, but I vacuumed, swept, mopped, dusted, got rid of old clothes, AND washed my bedsheets, so it's super clean in here now!
Hello again! Today I updated my DIY page and I think it looks so cool! I posted a YouTube video on there that I did about painting this Specimen shirt, it was a really fun project. I made my own stencils and everything.
Anyway, I'm off work for a couple days now! Yay! I think tomorrow I'll go to this little park/garden by my house and read, the weather is supposed to be nice.

I made a little music player for my music page and I'm so happy with it! I got inspired by the one I saw on Rei's site and decided to try it out myself. Pro tip: you can look at the source code of ANY site if you right click and select "view page source" (at least that's how it works on Firefox, I think is says something different on other browsers). That way, if you see something that looks really cool, you can figure out what they did to code it! You can try it on this page right now but I don't recommend you copy me too closely because I'm sill learning lol.

Finally got my SFX page looking how I wanted! I think the wesite is really coming together now, my CSS is slowly but surely improving.
In other news, I've had a loooong week at work. It was so busy, and I had a lot of extra stuff to do, but now I'm off for the weekend! I think tomorrow I'll go hang out at the library, I like to go there and read.
Right now, I'm reading The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin, and I am really enjoying it so far, the world building is just so interesting! I recommend it if you're into fantasy.
I revamped a lot of pages today! I'm especially happy with how my "Movies" and "Youtubers" pages turned out. I'm probably going to work on my "SFX" page some more because I'm not really satisfied with it, and then I need to work on the ones I haven't gotten around to yet. But overall, it's going good! Now that I have a better idea of how to use z-index and positions, I can do a lot more visually interesting things, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.

I learned so much about CSS today! I coded this whole blog layout from scratch, and I never knew how to do most of this before. I used Sadgrl's Layout Builder when I was first making this site, which is really useful, but I'm so excited to have figured out how to do it on my own! I can make so many cool pages now :).
If you want some help with CSS too, I figure out how to make basically everything you're seeing here from Khan Academy's free "Intro to CSS" course. It's really easy to follow and it helped me a ton. I might actually do their Computer Science courses, when I'm done with the programming ones, because I am so interested in computers and the internet lately.
Anyway! I'll probably be doing an overhaul on this site at some point with my new knowledge. It's just a little overwhelming to start on because I only knew a tiny bit of basic HTML when I started and just sort of figured it out as I went, so most of the code is soooooo messy. But I'll get to it eventually!
I'm going to try to go to bed now because it is after 2 a.m. I am really hyperfocused on coding and my website right now so it's hard to get off my computer lol. Goodnight!
